Dr. Athar had been in the counseling field for more than 20 years. She has a diverse training background and she provides training and therapy to many diverse groups of individuals.

I was desperate and devastated after my husband of 24 years abandoned me and my four children. I had no where to go and then some one told me about Dr. Athar. I contacted her. She immediately provided me with an appointment (same day) and took time to listen to my history and although I did not stay with her for therapy, she did provide me with many referrals so that I could become self-sufficient.
